The event was attended by the Head of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of North Sumatra, Mhd Jahari Sitepu, accompanied by the Head of the Sahata Marlen Situngkir Administration Division, the Head of the Correctional Division Rudy F. Sianturi, the Head of the Immigration Division Yan Wely Wiguna, and the Head of the Legal and Human Rights Services Division Alex Cosmas Pinem officially closed the financial reconciliation activities for the second semester of 2023.

The closing ceremony, held at Hotel Mariana, witnessed the completion of the stages of financial report preparation involving all work units in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Office in North Sumatra.

The reconciliation activities, taking place from January 8 to January 11, 2024, demonstrate the commitment of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in North Sumatra to create financial reports that are not only accurate but also transparent and accountable.

In his speech, Jahari conveyed that this process not only produces quality financial reports but also strives to improve the professionalism of operators in adhering to Government Accounting Standards (SAP).

“We proudly announce that the stages of preparing the financial report for the second semester of 2023 have been successfully completed with satisfactory results. Now, we enter the next stage, which is to evaluate and formulate improvement steps to prevent the recurrence of the same findings in the future,” said Jahari Sitepu.

This reconciliation process is not just an obligation for reporting but also a forum for synergy and collaboration among all components of the Regional Office.

Participants are expected to learn from the stages that have been passed, create a more efficient framework, and support budget accountability in accordance with applicable regulations.

Involving representatives of operators responsible for the financial section from each work unit, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in North Sumatra has successfully achieved the main goal of conducting reconciliation activities, including preparing accurate, transparent, and timely financial reports.

Jahari hopes that this success can inspire all entities in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Office in North Sumatra. The financial reconciliation closure reflects the commitment of the Regional Office in North Sumatra to maintain financial integrity and meet high accountability standards.

Alexa hopes that after this reconciliation activity, BMN Operators and Treasurers can improve their performance in the future to achieve all the work plans and targets that have been set.
